There are a great many communities in SL, of all sorts and kinds. You could hold meetings for newcomers to introduce them to the communities. You could hold meetings for your own community and get them together in SL. You could take your class into SL. The possibilities are endless.
I did find something strange one time when I teleported somewhere. There were some funny looking creatures with tails and horns. It was a bit scary. I got out of there quite fast. I don’t even want to think about what kind of facilitation this community would require!
